professionalism in manufacturing and associated
supply chain activities. It specialises in providing
education for the management of resources and
supply chain, including Production and Inventory
Management, Warehousing and Distribution,
Procurement and Materials Management.
apicsAU is a non-profit organisation with
active chapters in NSW, Victoria, Queensland,
Western Australia and South Australia. In addition
to extensive education programs, chapters
offer activities that facilitate the exchange and
advancement of practical knowledge, ideas and
techniques. Activities include, meetings, short
courses, site visits and conferences.
apicsAU membership is available at an
individual or a corporate level and provides
access to educational programs, a network
of industry professionals, real-world learning
opportunities, articles and information.

The APICS Certified in Production and Inventory
Management (CPIM) program is recognised glob-
ally as the standard of professional competence in
production and inventory control.
All instructor-led programs are now underway for

A distance learning option is available for stu-
dents wanting to self-direct their study and begin
